JOB TITLE: Acquisitions Analyst
LOCATION: Washington DC
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
• Plan, prepare, track and maintain acquisition documentation for the Medium Range Surveillance Project, which is procuring and fielding aircraft and mission system pallets (MSPs) provided by two different prime contractors as an integrated system in the full-rate production phase of the acquisition lifecycle.
• Prepare draft presentations, white papers, position papers, and other materials to support project plans, briefings, and ADEs.
• The Contractor will lead activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans as well as set, record and monitor annual project goals. The documentation development will be in accordance with the DHS HSAM and USCG MSAM for acquisition planning and project management from mission analysis and requirements generation through design, development, production, and deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Must have at least three years of experience in major systems acquisition program management and prior experience with the SharePoint Integrated Digital Environment (IDE).
• Experience with the DHS Next Generation Periodic Reporting System (nPRS) and DHS Investment Management System (IMS), as well as the USCG’s Acquisition Program Management System (APMS) is desired.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• BS/BA -Relevant Degree
• Candidate must pass a favorable background investigation.
