JOB TITLE: IA Security Engineer
LOCATION: Arlington, VA
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Cyber Security Division in maintaining all Certification and Accreditation decisions. Test all Macintosh solutions and infrastructure changes in the Enterprise Test Environment to ensure they are interoperable, do not impact system performance or availability, and are secure in accordance with all DoD, and all other applicable security policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with information assurance or Cybersecurity regulations and requirements
• 5+ years of experience with threat intelligence, incident handling, or supporting computer network defense
• 2+ years of experience in or supporting system engineering (macOS, Linux, or Windows)
• Experience with DoD information assurance guidance, including AR 25-2, FISMA, Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM), NIST SP 800-37/39/53, or NIST SP 800-137
• Experience with DoD Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes, including DIACAP or RMF
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders having different levels of expertise in Cybersecurity
• Ability to work effectively with minimal client direction and to clearly explain the process, approach, model, analysis, or solution to non-technical stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• BA or BS degree in a computer or STEM field, or commensurate work experience in the field of IT Security
• DoD 8570 Professional Compliance IAT III Qualifying Certification, including (ISC)2 CISSP, GIAC GCIH/GCED, or ISACA CISA (but NOT CompTIA CASP)
• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.
